Hey, name is Ava! I am the owner of Bark Avenue Dog Adventures. I am originally from Edmonton and moved to Vancouver in 2017. Growing up my family always had dogs and from a young age my world has completely revolved around them. After moving to Vancouver I found myself missing my family dogs more than anything so I began to search for jobs involving dogs, landed my first professional dog walking job, and the rest is history. I have experience with all breeds, ages, sizes, and reactivity levels.  I love forming deep, loving connections with each dog and creating a safe, comfortable environment to ensure your pups are always living their best lives.

Hey. I'm Megan - a part-time pet sitter for Bark Avenue Dog Adventures! I was born and raised in Kelowna , and have been living in Vancouver since 2004. I currently work remotely as a graphic designer by day and have started pet sitting this past year. My passion for all things 'dog' started as far back as I can remember. From puppies to seniors, I have experience with numerous dog breeds from many diverse backgrounds - including rescues and those with complicated health issues. While I enjoy and embrace every dog I meet, I have a particular soft spot for those pups that struggle with reactivity, anxiety, or any other big feelings that require extra patience and understanding to make them feel safe and comfortable. I follow positive reinforcement methodologies and am also certified in Pet First Aid.
